Hello! We are the photo couple (Liz & Joe) behind Coach House Pictures. We live, play, and work inside of our cozy Coach House in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago (Grayslake and Geneva) our paths crossed many times while developing film, printing in the darkrooms and going to and from photography classes at Columbia College. However our first true meeting was on a commercial photo shoot a few years after graduation.
Our passion to capture moments and story tell through photographs along with our love for meeting new family's and couple's is what has brought us together to create Coach House Pictures. Simply put, we love what we do and we are so blessed to be invited into our client's lives and homes.
Our business offers a unique photo experience where we help you create the photo session you envision. We offer prop styling, wardrobe and location advise to not only help you look your best but to also help us capture photographs that are authentic and personal. At the end of the session we talk about how you want to make your photographs come to life through prints, albums, or note cards! We are so excited to be partnering with Pinhole Pro to give our clients the most beautiful and unique printed products on the market today. Or if you wish, we would love to create and build your album or printed products especially for you!
When we are not shooting we love to explore our other creative outlets. Liz can be found blogging, being crafty, or DIY-ing around the house. While Joe can be found in the kitchen creating the ultimate spicy dish or playing one of his many guitars.
